Implementation Process
Welcome to our Implementation Page at ReferralMD. Here, we ensure a smooth transition and setup for your organization by assigning a dedicated Project Manager to oversee your implementation project. The process is meticulously planned, typically allocating six weeks for standalone projects and 14 weeks for projects involving EHR integration.
Our comprehensive approach includes initial pre-kickoff and kickoff meetings to establish project governance, a detailed implementation plan, and a timeline. Your organization will appoint a Project Lead to coordinate closely with our team, dedicating about three hours per week to data gathering, system configuration, and managing your CRM tools.
Through remote delivery of implementation and training services, we support you every step of the way—from workflow analysis and account configuration to training sessions and final go-live. Whether integrating with an existing EHR system or setting up a new standalone system, our goal is to enhance your operational efficiencies and seamlessly transition you to ongoing account management.
Bidirectional Integrations
We integrate with most electronic health records (EHR) systems, practice management systems (PMS), and radiology information systems (RIS) using APIs, HL7, FHIR, or Direct, and we also seamlessly connect with other HIPAA-compliant third-party systems and business intelligence tools.
