With ReferralMD’s enterprise referral management and e-consult platform, Neighborcare Health will now centralize all referral communication and reduce the dependency on spreadsheets and faxes with the goal to close the feedback loop with external receiving providers.
Previously, Neighborcare’s staff would manually fax outbound referrals to community specialty providers and rarely receive any updates to the status of their patients. For Neighborcare Health to properly participate in the future care of their patients, they needed to be kept in the loop and be notified in real-time of the status of their patients.
